Detox Placement

Detox is the process of ridding the body of harmful substances. The symptoms of withdrawal vary greatly from substance to substance and could be exacerbated by underlying medical conditions or Co-Occurring Disorders.

Some symptoms can be mild such as sleep disruption or irritability, while others are more severe. Severe withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety and depression, hallucinations, and seizures can be dangerous and life-threatening. Detoxing alone or without proper supervision and medication could be lethal.

A safe and reliable detox placement is the first step to addiction recovery. Under the care of medical professionals, patients can experience reduced withdrawal symptoms and are medically monitored to ensure patient safety.

Partial Care or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Partial Care programs or PHPs offer the intensity of residential treatment without the live-in requirement to sleep in a facility or group home. Clinical treatment services are offered on a daily basis and include individual sessions, group sessions, and medication management.

Each individualized Partial Hospitalization Program is designed to effectively treat substance dependence or Substance Use Disorder. A PHP is the best fit for a patient who requires high-intensity support but does not require 24-hour medical supervision or medical care. Our PHP programs run five days a week for 4 to 6 hours a day to provide consistent support.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

An Intensive Outpatient Program is a higher level of individualized care than outpatient programs and offers greater support on a daily basis. An IOP is intended for patients who may be suffering from a dual diagnosis and require daily support but do not require PHP levels of care.

After an inpatient or PHP program, an IOP is designed to support patients in ongoing substance use or mental health treatment. Patients will receive the benefits of daily treatment in individual and group settings while still maintaining the freedom to sleep at home and address daily responsibilities.

Dual Diagnosis

When someone is struggling with both a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder at the same time, clinicians refer to this as dual diagnosis. But what does dual diagnosis mean in the real world? It describes a clinical picture where conditions like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or personality disorders occur alongside drug or alcohol dependence. The combination is more common than many people realize, and far more complex.

If you’ve ever wondered what dual diagnosis is, or why addiction often heightens emotional struggles, the answer lies in how the brain responds to stress, trauma, and chemical changes. A dual diagnosis disorder creates a cycle where mental health symptoms drive substance use, and substance use worsens those same symptoms. Without the right level of integrated care, people end up treating one condition while the other continues to grow.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication-assisted treatment is a form of drug therapy that blends traditional therapy methods with prescription medication monitoring. This process adds a layer of support for patients struggling with long-term substance use or a dual diagnosis.

In order to be truly effective, the patient’s mental and physical health treatment must be delicately aligned with their needs to avoid activating another substance dependence. Our team of addiction providers specializes in comprehensive and holistic treatment for safe and effective treatment.

By combining evidence-based treatment and strategic medication management, the patient is equipped to safely address the mental and emotional aspects of their recovery and focus on altering their habits. Long-term sobriety and recovery are possible with strategic medication-assisted treatment.
